DAY
01 - Delhi
Arrive Delhi. Afternoon city tour of Old Delhi. Visiting Red Fort, Jama
Masjid, Chandni Chowk etc.
DAY 02 - Delhi
Morning City tour of New Delhi visiting Qutab Minar, Humayun Tomb, Jantar
Mantar, Parliament House, India Gate and Birla Mandir. Afternoon free for
optional visits - a) visiting the Museum, b) Evening enjoy dances of India
with dinner at the ethnic Haus Khas village.
DAY 03 - Delhi/Jaipur
Depart for Jaipur. Afternoon visiting City Palace,Jantar Mantar, Palace Of
Winds (Hawa Mahal) and a walk through the colourful bazar.
DAY 04 - Jaipur
Morning depart for an excursion to Fort Amber. Climb the fortress on
elephant backs.
DAY 05 - Jaipur/Agra
Depart to Agra by road visiting Fatehpur Sikri, the 16th century deserted
city of Emperor Akbar. On arrival in Agra transfer to the hotel. Afternoon
depart for a visit of the world famous Taj Mahal & Agra Fort. Overnight.
DAY 06 - Agra/Khajuraho
Morning depart by air for Khajuraho. On arrival to Khajuraho check into
Hotel. After noon visit world famous Temples built by Chandela Rulers in the
10th/11th Centuries. Overnight.
DAY 07 - Khajuraho/Varanasi
Morning depart by air for Varanasi. On arrival proceed or a visit to
Sarnath, Where Buddha first preached. Later return to check into hotel.
Overnight.
DAY
08 - Varanasi/Kathmandu
Early morning depart for a boatride on the holy River Ganges to view the
sunrise and the Hindu devotees performing their religious rites on the banks
of the river. Return to the hotel. Later depart by air for Kathmandu.
Onarrival transfer to the hotel for overnight stay.
DAY 09 - Kathmandu
Early morning depart for city sight seeing & visit of Swayambhunath.
Afternoon visit Patan famous for ornate temples & fine arts. Evening
enjoy an hour of nepalese folk dances at Old Rana Palace.
DAY 10 - Kathmandu
Early morning excursion to Pasupatinath & Bodhnath. Afternoon visit
Bhadgaon, the home of medieval art & architecture. Overnight.
DAY 11 - Kathmandu/Delhi
Morning free for optional flight over the Himalayas or visit Dhulikhel to
view the sunrise. Afetrnoon depart by air for Delhi. On arrival transfer to
the hotel.
DAY 12 - Depart Delhi
Assistance & transfer to the airport for departure for onward
destination.
