Rishikesh,
Gateway to Garhwal Himalayas and center for Yoga and Meditation. Visit to
Gangotri Temple, dedicated to Goddess Ganga. Trek to Source of Ganges,
Gaumukh and Tapovan (4400 m). High altitude meadow. High peaks like Shivling
(6543 m), Satopanth (7075 m) etc.
Day 1 :Arrive-Delhi
Arrive Delhi. Met upon arrival and transfer to hotel for two night stay.
Day 2 :Delhi
Late Morning tour of Delhi to include Qutb Minar, Humayun's Tomb and Raj
Ghat. After Lunch at the hotel visit Government buildings, India Gate and
Laxmi Narayan (Birla )Temple. Optional tours in the evening can be arranged
for sound and light show at the Red Fort. or local dance show.
Day 3 : Delhi
Delhi - Rishikesh: Drive to Rishikesh Stay for 02 nights at hotel.
Day 4 : Rafting
Morning activities shall include rafting down the ganges Early evening be
at Haridwar to witness "Aarti" on the banks of the Ganges.
Day 5 :Rishikesh
Rishikesh - Uttarkashi: - Drive to Uttarkashi (1150 m). Uttarkashi is the
base of many trekking and mountaineering activities. Stay at tented resort.
Day 6 :Uttarkashi
Uttarkashi - Gangotri: - Drive to Gangotri (3048 m). Gangotri is the place
where the daughter Ganga from Heaven landed on Earth. There is a Temple of
Goddess Gangotri. Overnight.
Day 7 :Gangotri
Gangotri - Bhojbasa: Trek to Bhojbasa (3658 m) following the river
Bhagirathi. From Bhojbasa you can have majestic view of Bhagirathi group of
peaks.Overnight.
Day 8 :Gaumukh
Bhojbasa - Gaumukh - Tapovan: - Trek to Tapovan (4400 m) via Gaumukh, the
source of river Ganges Continue trekking to Tapovan. Tapovan is the base
camp for climbing Mt Shivling and Mt Meru. Overnight at Topavan.
Day
9 : Tapovan
Tapovan - Bhojbasa: Return trek to Bhojbasa. Overnight
Day 10 :Bhojbasa
Bhojbasa -Gangotri - Uttarkashi: Trek down to Gangotri. On arrival drive to
Uttarkashi. Overnight.
Day 11 :Uttarkashi
Uttarkashi - Haridwar drive and then transfer to railway staton for train
to DelhiOvernight.
Day 12 :Transfer to International Airport
Transfer to International Airport in time to board flight for onward
destination.
Day 13 : The day is at leisure.

Day 14 :Transfer to the airport
Transfer to the airport to board your return flight.
